EL MEDANO BEACH
A kitesurfing spot with the best wind conditions
​
In El Médano boasts ideal wind conditions for kitesurfing. The beach also offers a specially designated zone to set up kites, and there are different areas available, suitable for all levels of experience. The sport can be practised all year round, however it’s during the summer when it becomes one the most popular destinations for kitesurf lovers in Tenerife, especially when the winds blow in a northerly and north-easterly direction.
LA TEJITA BEACH
La Tejita Beach is located 2 km from the town of El Medano, immediately to the West of Montaña Roja.
La Tejita is the longest (about 1.5 km) and widest (100–300 m) sand beach on Tenerife. It is one of the purest natural beaches on the island composed of a thin and soft light-yellow sand. Known for its beauty, it has a very popular naturist section
